Our Ethics and Code of Conduct

“The key to any successful endeavor begins with strong fundamentals. It is important that the people of Affinia understand and abide by our Affinia Code of Conduct. Vince Lombardi once said, “The achievements of an organization are the combined effort of each individual.”

We must function as one team, focused on one common result. We value honest, open communications and respect for people. We aim high in expectations and performance. To do what we say we’re going to do is the cornerstone of our integrity, and surpassing the expectations of our customers is our highest commitment.

Affinia Values

Our people are not just important assets of Affinia; we are Affinia.  Without our unique attitude, Affinia would be just another company.  We are making Affinia faster, smarter and more competitive by focusing on customers and performance.  We are guided by a common set of eight values, each one underpinned by integrity.

Integrity

We will act with integrity in all that we do.  Integrity means always tell the truth, always keep your word and always do the right thing.  We will always follow the Affinia Group Code of Conduct.

Freedom, Fairness and Trust

Affinia's atmosphere of freedom, fairness and trust encourages our people to use their creativity, generate ideas and pursue innovation.  We will put no boundaries around our jobs, our knowledge, or our imaginations.  Instead of seeking things as they are and asking, "Why", we see them as we want them to be and ask, "Why not?" Tomorrow’s Affinia will be a product of today's ideas.

Positive Attitude

A good, positive attitude spread across Affinia will multiply our strength.  Our ultimate freedom is to choose our own attitude in any given set of circumstances.  We will celebrate our wins and learn from our losses; but win or lose, we'll keep a good attitude.

Affinia will change its mission, goals, objectives, strategies and tactics as often and as quickly as necessary.  Our core values do not - and will not change.
